

About James Crossman

James began his 25-year kitchen career as an apprentice at Nottingham's premiere French restaurant Petit Paris under the tutorage of Head Chef Jean Louis David where he discovered his love for fine dining. At just 19, James joined the prestigious Claridges Hotel in London where, under the guidance of Gordon Ramsay, the team gained a Michelin star in 2002. His love for French cuisine developed further with a brief spell at a Michelin Star restaurant in Cannes.

An exciting opportunity as Junior Sous Chef emerged at the esteemed Hart's Hotel & Kitchen in Nottingham which allowed James to move back to the East Midlands. His story came full circle when in 2011 he became Head Chef and eventual owner of Petit Paris on Kings Walk.

Following the success of Petit Paris, James was part of the team at Paris Bar & Restaurant - a fine dining destination in Nottingham. Paris went on to achieve many accolades including winning Come Dine With Me The Professionals in 2022 and being awarded a distinguished AA Rosette in the same year
